Technical
Rivet sets your name in large black capitals beside a solid safety-yellow block that puts your phone number first and biggest, with your email, location, and a web link beneath it, all standing on a heavy black rule. Each section opens with a yellow tab on a black line: your skills and tools become a three-column checklist of ticked yellow boxes, your licenses, safety cards, and awards appear as outlined cards with a yellow edge, and your work history follows with bold job titles, right-aligned dates, and short bullet points.
Rivet is made for the skilled trades: electricians, plumbers, HVAC and maintenance technicians, welders, carpenters, mechanics, machinists, and site supervisors — people who are hired on their tickets, their tools, and a phone call. Certifications sit near the top where a foreman or hiring manager looks first, the checklist shows at a glance what you can do on site, and projects and training round out the page.
Every word on the page is real, selectable text under standard section headings, so applicant tracking systems can read it. Note that the contact block, checklist, and cards are laid out in tables, which some older ATS software reads less reliably than plain lines of text.
